EVERY GREAT STORY HAS A BEGINNING

My great-grandfather is Italian, a pioneer, who fled from war and took refuge in the interior of São Paulo. There he began to grow grapes and produce wine, but also from the land originated all the food to support the family. The legacy of this passion crossed generations and ended up conquering me as well.

I have always had communication as a strong foundation.

From my first steps in Vinhedo, in the countryside of São Paulo, to the lights of international stages, my life has always been intertwined with the roots of agribusiness. I grew up in a family of rural producers, where I learned the value of the land and the fruits it gives us. My curiosity and passion took me beyond the farm gates, in search of knowledge and new perspectives.

I chose to study Journalism. I wanted to work on TV. To show so many cases of people who fought for a better world in various ways. I admired Ana Paula Padrão, who presented the Jornal da Globo, midnight. She made such a perfect and didactic summary of everything that was happening in the economy of Brazil and the world, which inspired me to learn even more about the subject. Communication and Economy. My passions.

I worked at EPTV and Band Campinas, Band SP, Canal Rural and TV Record. And as nothing is by chance, it was through Journalism that I returned to my roots.

A brief stint at Canal Rural, Grupo RBS, introduced me to the world of agribusiness. The interaction with colleagues who understood so much about the market aroused my curiosity. They recommended me the MBA in Capital Market and Socio-Economic Information from FIA/USP.

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME Group)

I ended up switching stations, I went to Record News, and during this transition period, I was working and studying. I saw a new world ahead, things that only knowledge provides.

A friend from MBA, who worked at B3 at that time, mentioned that the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME Group) was opening an office in São Paulo and needed someone in the coordination.

And so, another challenge began in my professional life. Much study, dedication, and learning with my work colleagues.

The world of Commodities, mainly, the agricultural area caught my attention.

It was like a rescue. I started to travel to various grain-producing regions of Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, and the United States.

There’s no argument against knowledge.

I started an MBA in Agribusiness at ESALQ-USP and fell even more in love with the field.

I worked in the American market for over 15 years, including at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, as Director of Commodity Market Development in Latin America.

In my luggage, a journey of great success, excellence, and competence, but I believe that we can always evolve (“life long learning”), therefore, I never stopped studying. I recently completed a Master’s degree in Agribusiness from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV/SP.

As a Master in Agribusiness and Keynote at prestigious events, today I have the mission to be the voice of Brazilian agro, an economic and sustainable power. My journey is proof that, together, we are stronger and capable of exploring new horizons in the world of agribusiness.

LECTURES AND WORKSHOPS

Currently, I work to share knowledge with those involved in Agro on how to manage risks through futures and options contracts, how to innovate in Agribusiness and the importance of ESG for companies. I lecture at the main Agro events in Brazil and around the world, in addition to following the market and doing analyses for various portals and newspapers.
